there are two options to play new AL:
1) don't rename any scripts to three letter just use files from sagamosa archive
that way there will be no burden of incompabilities but only a few wog options is availible.
2) copy only script118.erm all rest generate by renaming all your old scriptxx.erx to script0xx.erx
this way it works both AL nad SU scripts. a few tiny changes will be ommited, but the scripts other than 118 are outdated, so then better that way if you want to play, not just test

I've done myself variant of (2) - some SU scripts replaced with wogmod version (the ones from doom3d unofficial patch) which somewhat rebalances it. i do not use new script files (new numbers) from wogmod, because of there are some issues with *.ers files (and by this way it's added to wog options), and some options are same as some abilities from AL (eg. shamanic run for everyone). i also have same files in scriptxx.erx so if i want to play without AL i just launch plain h3wog.exe (AL uses same option number as one wog option)

@majaczek...can u make a copy of your s folder, archive it and send it to me? Also can you send me the copy of your settings (the *.dat file). It's so frustrating that I can't even get it to start. Thx a lot

@ sagamosa - thanks for the files but as I mentioned above still can't get it to run past wogification step. Is it possible to make an archive of your Heroes folder and upload it somewhere (www.transfer.ro accepts up to 1GB per file free sharing). Thanks a lot

i found the guilty for incompability with 358fSU - the new-old script000.erm from al package
it lack a few basic macros. the macros are called by other macros so VNCopy bug was.

I got compatible 358fsu + AL script.
once i launched it wogifies fine. but once my hero (grindan) get star magic and i press magic book on adventure interface the bug pop ups.
there are sure glitches on your hero counting routine (as it is not incompability because same when AL-only setup ran

i've made a map to test AL (much mithril and 2x8 heroes each diffrerent class + permanent +exp events) and pimped up all my heroes but clavius to 20 lvl, and when clavius got soul slaves skill it throwed zvslib error. IDK if it is because of SS or of overload, however it played further ok.

if i read properly it had some problem with dialog box itself.

I see. Well, if you knew about something based on wog and in (real development)...or in case you are planning to do some mods by yourself, some ideas from following stuff might be worth considering(i hope everything is):
*Battle extender does not affect wog creatures(I love that script, so its pity)
*Hero speciality boost is way too much overpowered on creatures(original specialities are useless on them though). I would suggest rigid bonuses like 2 def 1 dmg on 2nd level monster, which dont grow with lvls because with growing unit stack relative efficiency of even stable boost also grows. And some other specialities should be reworked. This way it could be allowed for network battles.
*8th. level dwelling dont accumulate creatures even when"works like normal dwelling" and " dwelling accumulate creatures" are both enabled.(I belive this option would be interesting while not being imba)
*About AI:Sometimes PC players stuck sitting and dont do anything.
*For me is very important script "neutral unit bonuses". Makes me think about neutrals, game is more difficult. But ist hard to beat neutrals with new hero, so I guess bonuses should be partly dependant on hero level, say 60%. I am not sure about restricting this option furthermore( maximum possible bonus or little weaker bonus on stronger monsters), anyway neutrals should remain serious threat, what you have to think about.

*Diplomacy is too strong. If it was upon me, I would remove possibility joining hero for no gold.

*Some spells benefit from higher secondary skill level more than others(basic/expert slow is mega difference, but basic/expert implosion or magic arrow is difference of 2 spell power-mainly lvl 4 and 5 dont benefit)not sure whether improving just bonus or improving spell power multiplier is better choice.

...I cant remember more now. I found very little information about Master of pupputs mod(and no information about phoenix mod). Can you tell me if Master of puppets is compatible with wog? Is there a possibility to turn off scripts like there is in wog? Thank you in advance for any answer.

well 3 effect spell with cure and duration didn't work as I intended.
cure was casted once. i thought it should act each turn, but it may be too powerfull maybe

well attacking spells work if they are single targeted.
but i spotted another bug: spellforge menu only counts things when increased and only relative - that means if you add more attack but you find it too expensive and decrase it doesn't cecrase cost, then when you incrase again through the limit the cost increase again. you can make 100mana 10attack spell if repeated much. however player may cancel and try again. but still a bug.

well mass attack spell works only if merged with berseker. sad.
i'll try other spells with spellforge.
however mass attack berseker spell may not work as you intended.
it looks like - you cast spell - all bersekered - one attack another - all enemy stacks get hurted

well spellforge works if you do not make too stuffed spell.
however the attack part, when mass efect is applied only after the unit is attacked.

(make yourself mass berseker + attack spell with turn duration - better than armagedon )

nevermind it only loops until you place rune in valid place, so no problem about refund, but perhaps player could wish to abort placing something? however new object placing option is great both for the towers and runes

i found a bug with runes. if you choose to erect rune and click to far away from hero you don't place rune but mithril isn't refunded

i found a bug with spellforge. after playing with spellforge i loaded earlier save (lv<20) and leveled for spellforge. the earlier spells were there for free!

also i it desired that heroes in tavern with 5lvl haven't their first AL?

hey i made really great spell by spellforge, but every turn in battle it gives error.
spell has no name, 3 effects both types of damage and mass effect and duration.
it didn't applied the damage but rest works. i'll try with simplier spells.
